Life’s not the Breaths you take

Standard

“Life’s not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out, that gets you through the day ain’t what its all about. You just might miss the point trying to win the race. Life’s not the breaths you take but the moments that take your breath away.”

I think that song just about sums it up. Its the moments that take your breath away that matter the most in life, the times when your child smiles or laughs, your spouse hugging you after a long day at work or maybe just because they love you.

Yesterday, we went for a walk down at the park and it was just felt so amazing out we took our time. The wind blowing gently like it would when out on the beach, the temperature in the 70s, and the clouds hovering over just waiting to let the rain fall. It was pretty much perfect! 🙂 And it felt extra awesome to have walked an extra mile then normal. 😛 haha Gideon really liked watching the grass as it rippled in the wind and the other people there as they jogged by.  I’m not sure what it is about the outdoors but something about it just makes us feel so good and rejuvenated. Even this late in Summer you could see the new flowers blooming, and some of the small trees were blooming and showing off their flowers. God made something really amazing when he created the Earth!  Image
