Friends and Friendships

I learned so much from our time as friends,

Though the biggest two,

I learned from you,

Communication, and friendship.

But we have drifted apart,

And we hardly talk;

It makes me sad sometimes but that’s okay,

For I have a new friend, two actually,

One I love with all my Heart and is my BFF,

And I know he’ll never hurt or leave me,

He makes me happy and laugh,

I’ve learned to be myself from him,

I’ve learned to trust, and that not everyone lies;

My Second friend,  she is kind and sometimes quiet,

but we still have lots to talk about,

Our friendship is still kinda new,

But I’m sure we have lots we can learn from each other.

So this is me, saying Farewell to an old friendship,

And welcoming new Friendships with open arms,

I can’t wait to learn more from you.
